Dennis Gibbons, LMT worked with Melinda Bacon once when she came into town from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She has experienced amazing results from the Muscle Release Therapy, MRTh®, most of which she shares in the following testimonials:

2 days post-treatment - "Dennis, I am absolutely, positively, better than "well". I am walking (with my knees!), sleeping (first nap in years), breathing (fully and deeply) and sitting like regular folks do with direct pressure on my left side. There is no clicking when I walk, my back doesn't catch when I breath. I am mobile in places I didn't know I could be. I feel open and a little bit high.

There is some pain/inflammation in my rib area and my hamstring pain is dissipating to weak pulsating throbs. It has not seized up at all post treatment. Clearly, the piriformis muscle is confused and tingling but pain free. First time since Sept 3.

It will take me a while to adjust to this new state of being. I just walked into the exec lounge in Toronto and scoped out the bar stools as I usually do so I can sit/stand with less discomfort- then it occurred to me that I can sit in a normal chair now. My first day with the new body. You are truly an amazing healer.

I don't really know who I am without pain and instability- physically and emotionally- but I'm excited to find out.

Thanks for saving my life.

Take care
M. B. -

4 Days post-treatment

"Hi Dennis.  Just wanted to let you know that I continue to be amazed by my miraculous and almost instantaneous recovery.  My hamstring seems to be getting better each day, still recovering from 10 months of constant muscle spasm.  The area in my upper back is still sore with a more generalized and throbbing pain sensation but it doesn’t catch when I breath/sneeze/twist so I assume this is part of the healing process.  When I stand up and walk I am still sometimes surprised that my lower back doesn’t catch.  My only regret is that I didn’t come sooner.

Thanks for fixing me."

July 18, 2011:

"Hi Dennis.

I’ve been making some progress and feel pretty amazing compared to my expectations given my history.  I’ve started doing yoga again and noticed that for the first time in my life I can get my entire spine on the floor when I’m on my back- even my lower back which I thought was just genetically defective, loose and unnaturally curved.  If I was ever able to do that before seeing you I do not remember.  I’ve also noticed that my mobility in other postures where my upper spine is involved is greatly improved – I am  moving fluidly and it doesn’t “catch” when I move at all anymore.  I don’t know if you can understand how remarkable this is for me as, again, I do not remember a time in my life when I could move my upper spine and not experience pain.    I’m starting to lose that imprint of limitations on movement in my upper spine.  Maybe I will take up tennis or golf?  Things I had ruled out before.  My hamstring is still angry but not flaring or getting worse with activity- I was able to lock the knee out in standing head to knee for the first time since Sept 3.  (the picture below is me doing this before the injury).  The hamstring is very tight and it hurts for sure but I feel confident I can work slowly to rebuild strength and flexibility in that area.  Do you think IMS or Prolo therapy would help with that or should I just keep doing gentle yoga and walking?

I have connections with the Bikram yoga  community and have and will continue to tell people about your work.  There are a few people I work with who will likely contact you and I know Patricia is planning to come.  If there’s any way I can help you please let me know.   Thanks for everything."
