Chagrin Valley Wellness Center is introducing the Paleo Lifestyle to you, as a way to promote a healthier lifestyle. CVWC is going to offer coaches to assist in the execrise program of the lifestyle, we will have guest speakers, we are going to make available to you the range feed farm for your beef, chicken, and pork.
The Paleo Diet / Lifestyle will be coached by Mr. Bob Hurwitz. Coach Bob is an Educated Practioner for over 40 years in Nutrition and Execrise. Bob has also chosen the Paleo Lifestyle for himself. Along with Coach Bob, Dennis Gibbons LMT will guide and go through the Lifestyle with you. Please us at CVWC for the Paleo, Session I starts on March 30th and will go thru April 27th.

foods of the Paleo:
(1) High in healthy fat, moderate in lean animal protein, low to moderate in carbs.
(2) Unlimited amounts of saturated fats; like coconut oil, butter, or clarified butter.
-Oils are ok for salads or to flavor food...but not to cook with...
(3) Eat plenty of fresh or frozen vegetables.
(4) Low to moderate amounts of fruits and nuts.
-Fruits low in sugar, high in antioxidants {like berries!}

Paleo Recipe: GINGER LIME CHICKEN BITES
Chicken Ingredients:
- 1 TBSP coconut oil
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- Juice of 1 organic lime
- 2 TBSP coconut aminos (or your favorite soy sauce substitute)
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 TBSP raw honey
- 1 tsp granulated onion
- Chopped green onions
- Sesame seeds
Directions:
- Mix sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken. Cook chicken, stirring occasionally, until browned and almost done. About 5 minutes.
- Add sauce to skillet, turn heat to low and simmer, uncovered for another 5 minutes, or until chicken pieces are cooked through.
- Top chicken bites with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
