The Heart Chakra

We are all aware that a Red Heart is the symbol of love, Valentine’s Day and the month of February.
But here at CVWC, February is also Reiki month and we are talking about the color GREEN!
 When this chakra is closed, we feel heavy in the heart and closed off. When we feel the vibration of the love from this chakra we feel free and open. The Heart Chakra bridges the upper and lower chakras using emotion to connect the upper, more spiritual and mental centers with the lower more physical chakras. Reiki works on the Seven Chakras to release blocks and help bring all the body’s energies into balance. | In celebration of Valentine’s Day, this month we are focusing on the HEART CHAKRA (Shock-ra). The Heart Chakra is the fourth chakra and is situated in and around the heart area of our physical body and is represented by the color green. Love is a product of the Heart Chakra. On a physical level it controls the heart and circulation of the lungs. On a mental level, the Heart Chakra affects our emotions and feelings and how we express then towards ourselves and others. Here, we feel not only family and romantic love, but self-love and divine, unconditional love.
